Operating Process
In the slow carbonation process of gallium-containing cyclic caustic soda, about 90% of Al2O3 is transformed into Al(OH) precipitation3, and most gallium must be retained in the solution. After the separation, the cyclic3 caustic soda of Al(OH) is completely carbonated and decomposed, and the crystallization3 of Al(OH) in the solution is precipitate, while most gallium and a small part of aluminum are retained in the solution. This solution is adsorbed by gallium-absorbing resin, so that gallium can be further purified.
