Temperature difference: FRP tank is directly in the direct sunlight state, thermal expansion and contraction can make FRP tank fatigue phenomenon, residual void inside the tank, bubbles, easy to expand under the condition of temperature change, accelerate the damage of the structure, so that the strength is reduced.

Cause of stress: When there is a certain gas in the tank, the tank is in a gas phase environment. In the gas phase state, the gas molecules are small and active, and after penetrating into the glass fiber reinforced plastic tank, they will gather at the defect, resulting in stress concentration. Under the action of stress, the existing gaps will become larger and larger.

The above is part of the cause of tank aging leakage, in order to prevent early aging of the tank, in the installation and use, the user should pay attention to the following points:

1, it is necessary to install the glass fiber reinforced plastic tank equipment to the shade, to avoid direct sunlight in summer, resulting in aging of the tank.

2. Anti-freezing measures should be taken in winter to prevent the water in the tank from freezing and expanding and causing damage to the tank.

Under normal circumstances, the service life of the glass fiber reinforced plastic tank is about 8 to 15 years, and the specific service life is also determined by the material and actual conditions of use of the glass fiber reinforced plastic tank. The use of high-performance epoxy resin and reinforced glass fiber as raw materials of the tank, the service life of about 20 years, can greatly reduce the frequency of replacement.
