The basic process of gold extraction using resin slurry method is:

(1) Adsorption: When the cyanide solution containing gold passes through an exchange resin column, an ion exchange reaction occurs, and gold is adsorbed on the resin

(2) Desorption: Use a desorption agent to desorb gold from the resin into the solution. For weakly alkaline gold loaded resins, desorption can be carried out at room temperature and pressure using a solution of sodium hydroxide with pH=13; For strong alkaline gold loaded resins, the sodium hypochlorite method, acidic thiourea method, zinc cyanide complex method, and thiocyanide complex method can be used for desorption.

(3) Recovery of gold: Gold is recovered from desorption solutions rich in gold using zinc powder replacement, alkaline precipitation, or electrolysis methods.

1. Directional selection and purification: Special gold absorbing resins have strong selectivity. For associated heavy metals, directional adsorption and incineration can yield gold purity of over 90%.

2. The process is simple and the processing accuracy is high: After the tailings wastewater is treated with Kehai Si special gold absorbing resin, the gold content of the wastewater can reach below 0.02ppm, with a processing accuracy. The tailings do not contain gold, and there is no need to purify them again after incineration. The process is simple.

3. Large adsorption capacity reduces comprehensive treatment costs
