
Lanlang Macroporous Thioureido chelating resin
Used for selective removal of mercury, recovery of precious metals and gold
Lanlang®TY CH 510 is a macroporous type chelating resin with thiourea functionality. It has very high selectivity for mercury and platinum group metals such as platinum, gold and silver.
TY CH 510 is stable over the whole pH range. The applications include mercury removal from brine and effluent in chloralkali process, mercury removal from flue gas scrubber effluent, recovery of platinum group metals from effluents amongst others. TY CH 510 is more resistant to oxidation than other sulfur-based resins and is not afraid of contact with air, but free chlorine and strong oxidants will destroy it, which must be removed by activated carbon filtration.
