Ion exchange resin is widely used in sugar industry. It is mainly used to remove impurities in beet syrup, such as organic acids, polysaccharides and inorganic salts. These impurities can affect the efficiency of sugar extraction and may lead to a decrease in yield and quality. Ion exchange resins can effectively remove these impurities and can also be used in processes such as softening water, desalting and deionizing. Ion exchange resin has the advantages of high efficiency, reusable and low cost, so it has become an indispensable and important process in the sugar industry.

SAC resin in sodium form, used for separation of monosaccharides and oligosaccharides; mainly used for the separation and purification of glucose, maltose, and oligosaccharides. It can increase the purity of glucose from 60% to 90%-95%.
