Lanlang® offers a full range of resins for water softening of food and beverage.
There are many ways to finish the processing of food raw materials. The ion exchange and adsorption resins are often used in the later finishing process due to their good selectivity and high processing precision, since it provides an effective and safe path for improving the quality of food ingredients, which could remove the deeper color of the food, remove the odor, remove the pesticide residue, and even make it more comfortable taste.
Industrial water softening is a process that utilizes ion exchange resins to reduce the concentration of calcium and magnesium ions. These alkaline earth metals can cause scaling and insolubility problems in the everyday uses of water by forming calcium and magnesium carbonate scales.
Typically, a Strong Acid Cation resin is used and regenerated with sodium chloride (brine). In cases of high TDS water or high hardness levels, the Strong Acid Cation resin is sometimes preceded by a Weak Acid Cation resin.

Lanlang is the member of American Water Quality Association. In 2016, Lanlang obtained WQA Certification with NSF / ANSI61 and 372 standard. And in 2022, Lanlang obtained NSF Certification with NSF/ANSI44 and 42 standard.
