Lanlang ® TY CH520 is a sort of chelating resin which has weakly acidic iminodiacetic acid [-CH2N-(CH2OOH)2] in the styrene / DVB copolymer with special macroporous structure. This product can fix and chelating one or several kinds certain cation in a great range even in the solution with high content. It is used mainly to separate and recover the precious metals ion, especially for the secondary refining of salt brine when the content of Strontium is near or higher than the content of calcium in the process of ion membrane alkaline producing. CH520 is also used to remove cooper, nickel, cobalt, zinc from waste water. For heavy metals recovery and brine softening for chlor alkali industry.

 

Lanlang Ion exchange resins are employed in the commercial mining and refining of molybdenum. Both strong base anion exchange resins and weak base anion resins are employed for Mo removal from strongly acidic feed streams. Nevertheless, the weakly basic anion resin is preferred for its high capacity and cleaner elution characteristics. Elution is usually accomplished using 10% sodium hydroxide.

 

In water, molybdenum frequently binds with oxygen to form molybdate anions.These species can in turn be removed using both strong base anion exchange resins and weak base anion exchange resins. In acidic solutions, a weak base anion exchange resin is preferred for its high capacity and cleaner elution characteristics.

 

Rhenium is a precious rare metal, which is widely used in scientific research and modern industry. Rhenium is mostly associated in metallic minerals, and the content is very low. The particularity of the distribution of scattered metals makes it difficult to extract and recover them. Extraction of rhenium by ion exchange is a simple and efficient method.
