Lanlang ® TA305GD Is a premium grade macroporous anion exchange resin with polystyrene matrix and both strong and weak base function group, which is specially designed for gold extraction by cyanidation in hydrometallurgy industry. Its specific matrix makes TA305GD has excellent resistance to mechanical attrition and osmotic pressure. TA305GD has macroporous structure with large specific surface area that provides high kinetic exchange capacity and total adsorption capacity.

 

Production practice has proved that the resin pulp method is better than carbon pulp method because resin has better performance in mechanical hardness, consumption loss, adsorption capacity and efficiency.

(1) Resin adsorption: Gold containing ores undergo cyanide leaching after crushing, grinding, and other operations. At the same time, the leaching process involves countercurrent resin adsorption (resin and slurry flow in the opposite direction). The gold carrying resin is extracted using an air lift, cleaned and stored in a storage tank, and the slurry is discharged as tailings.


(2) Desorption and recovery of gold on saturated gold loaded resin: After cleaning the gold loaded resin, it is sent into the analysis column using a jet machine for analysis, usually lasting 24-48 hours. The gold resin is analyzed using a heated analytical solution (the higher the temperature of the analytical solution, the shorter the analysis time, and the better the effect). The resulting precious liquid enters the electrolytic cell for electrolysis and recycling. After a certain cycle, the gold mud in the electrolytic cell is taken out, purified, and the ingot is cast into gold ingots.


(3) Resin regeneration: After analysis, the resin is regenerated using sodium hydroxide. Unlike the thermal activation regeneration of activated carbon, the resin can be regenerated at room temperature and pressure.
