Ion Exchange Resin for Boiler

Lanlang ® Ion Exchange Resin for Boiler Is premium grade gel type strong acid cation exchange resin produced by sulfonation of styrene-divinylbenzene (DVB) copolymers in standard Gaussian size distribution. It has excellent chemical, physical and thermal stability. In sodium form is widely used for water softening to reduce total hardness. In hydrogen form, it also can be used for water demineralization.

Lanlang supplies ion exchange resins for water treatment in industrial applications (e.g., boiler make-up water, softening, deionization) as well as specialty resins for critical high purity applications in the microelectronics, nuclear, and food & beverage industries. Ion exchange resin is also successfully used in municipal water to remove environmentally sensitive components such as PFAS/PFOS, perchlorates and heavy metals from drinking water and for other remediation applications. 

In steam boiler systems, salts that have dissolved in the water lead to corrosion and deposits. To avoid corrosion and deposits, depending on the operational mode and design of the steam generator, there are important requirements regarding the quality of the boiler feed water.

In a deionization system, the salts that have dissolved in the water are removed using ion-exchange resins. These salts are dissociated, i.e. in positive (cations) and negative particles (anions), and as a result, a so-called desalination line is set up as follows: cations exchanger – CO2 degasifi er – anions exchanger – mixed-bed fi lter. Moreover, for the installation to operate properly, a regeneration station and neutralization are required.

Lanlang is the member of American Water Quality Association. In 2016, Lanlang obtained WQA Certification with NSF / ANSI61 and 372 standard. And in 2022, Lanlang obtained NSF Certification with NSF/ANSI44 and 42 standard.
